structure that can stand for a century—or longer. At the Burning Man Festival though, the focus is on building, skill and creativity.
After months of engineering and planning, weeks of building,
and seven days as the spiritual heart of the Burning Man community in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, the spectacular Temple of Whollyness burned to the ground in just 40 minutes at the close of this year’s weeklong celebration.
